Singapore Budget 2020: S Pass quota in construction, marine shipyard and process sectors to be cut

The quota for S Pass holders allowed in the Construction, Marine Shipyard and Process sectors will be reduced from 20% to 15%. The government had indicated in 2019 that it would tighten the services sector’s foreign workforce quota. Mr Ho Meng Kit, CEO of the Singapore Business Federation (SBF), shared his thoughts on the measures, and how the SBF is advising its members on preparing for the reduction in the S Pass quota.
